Certified translations
Courts, authorities and other institutions may require certified translations of official documents, also known as sworn or notarised translations and often referred to as official or stamped translations. We provide translation services for official documents, including notarisation of the translation itself. If needed, we can also arrange higher levels of document authentication, such as an apostille and superlegalisation.
What does an officially certified translation look like?
An official translation is firmly attached to its original, typically the original document or a certified copy. The translation can also be bound to an ordinary copy if that is sufficient for your needs. If you are unsure, we recommend verifying this with the recipient of the translation. Once the translation is bound to the original, it becomes an official translation, and the documents can no longer be separated. The original is connected to the translation with a seal and includes a certification clause bearing the round stamp and signature of the sworn translator. Sworn (or official) translations are exclusively performed by translators who have been officially appointed to this role.

You can deliver certified translations to us in person, by mail, or electronically. You do not need to come to Prague; we can connect with you from Ostrava, Brno, or anywhere else.

We will send you a translation quote within 15 minutes. If the price suits you, we will confirm the translation details, and you can proceed with the order.
Certified translation
For certified translations, the translated text is securely bound to the original text and stamped by the certified translator. If you wish to keep your original document, we recommend using a notarised copy for translation.
Special certification for certain countries
